About the Course

Whether you are interested in brain development and how it relates to education, why human brain is superior than current machines, and what the four pillars of learning are, the answers can be found in the book How We Learn: Why Brains Learn Better Than Any Machine...for Now. The book is organized into three part. Part One defines what learning is and answers the question why our brain learns better than current machines. Part Two focuses on the process how human brain learns. To optimize our learning, Part Three delves into "Four Pillars of Learning". The pillars are attention, active engagement, error feedback, and consolidation. Stanislas Dehaene, the author of the book, ties current research in neuroscience to how it can be applied at home and at school.
