I really enjoyed this class as I learned some great ideas for managing my classroom. Our instructor gave great feedback, but I really enjoyed interacting with other teachers in the class. The ideas presented in the book were across the board from K-12. Although I teach 7th grade, I picked up many ideas that were presented for other grade levels. My copy of Ruby Payne's book will have a prominent place on my desk this year so I can refer to it whenever needed.

There were a lot of strategies that applied to my classroom and grades beyond. I'd recommend this especially for any newer teacher.
