About the Course

Have you ever observed someone’s classroom and said, “How did you get every single student on task and engaged?”  These simple strategies from Michael Grinder’s ENVOY Program can work in any classroom regardless of age, content or culture. “When ENVoY skills are delivered correctly, teachers can see students focus better, participate more actively, and remain productive during independent practice.” Time will be spent creating lesson templates that will guide your daily interactions with students.  These simple structures will lower your stress and allow you to enjoy your students more.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Identify and apply the 7 Gems of ENVoY to teaching with specific actions.
  • Implement strategies of influence rather than power to create fair and consistent boundaries that preserve the student-teacher relationship.
  • Create template(s) to be used for daily lessons which allow for student independence
  • Identify changes in classroom dynamics after implementing some nonverbal strategies of influence.
