Creating Educational Videos to Enhance Student Learning Inside and Outside of the Classroom

About the Course
Having increasingly larger class sizes with one teacher makes it difficult to differentiate and help students in a small group setting or on-on-one. This class will help you to create videos that you can post to your websites. The videos will allow you to have a flipped classroom, a blended learning classroom, or merely have videos on your website for those students who are absent. It can be as if there are multiple teachers in one classroom if used during class. Students can learn at their own pace because they can watch the video as many times as they need to. It allows the teacher to be free to work in small groups or one on one with students while the rest of the class can move ahead.

Catherine is a Great Instructor. She creates an atmosphere for all levels of experience in video editing and encourages creativity and the use of new technology. I have already used the videos I created in this class in my courses and school. Exactly what I expect from Professional Development, instantly impact my classroom. Well worth your time.

This has been a very helpful class. Catherine has been an amazing support in getting me started using technology for instructional videos to support my English Learners. It has been a huge learning curve for me, and I look forward to creating more instructional videos to build up my own video library.
