About the Course
This course is a book study on The Middle of Everywhere: Helping Refugees enter the American Community. We will explore how refugees are placed in America, describing their hardships, and what readers can learn from the refugee’s stories. Included in this book study will be practical applications of how to use the concepts the book introduces. Participants will collaboratively discuss ideas, reflect on their own experiences & struggles while making an action plan to integrate more cultural understanding with their colleagues. This course is appropriate for all K-12 and others involved in education.
