How to be a Career Educator and Love It!

About the Course
This course is for the new teacher to the veteran and everyone in between to learn how to make the most of a career in education. Teachers will create individual Life Plans that will span many areas of their lives. From money making tips (keeping the bills paid!), making a name for yourself in professional circles, intermixing your passions, and how to compartmentalize daily issues and responsibilities. Learn from a 30 year veteran how to stay fresh (mentally and physically) and focused and how to make this a lasting career and the benefits of doing so!
This course is appropriate for all educators at all levels. Life Plans will be personal goals developed on a supplied template.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Research, prioritize and ponder professional organization postings for conference speakers.
- Identify areas of leadership and implement Life Plans which may include elevated positions at their current site or in their future.
- Advocate and enrich their lives with leads for outside income in the community and intermising personal passions.
- Respond to an educationally complex and dynamic environment with strategies for compartmentalizing daily stresses and issues.
