About the Course

Stressed out about how to get your students to think outside the box in this new online learning environment? In this course, teachers will learn how to utilize free online tools to promote creativity in your classes- no matter what subject you teach. Tools include: Pinterest, Canva, Instagram/Twitter, and Google Sites. Teachers will learn the basics about each of these tools, and submit an example how they could use them in a lesson as either a research, presentation, or as a summative evaluation tool. This course is designed to help you create fresh assignments that help further develop students as 21st Century creative thinkers and problem solvers.

This class is appropriate for all grade levels and subjects. All technology levels welcome!

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Use free online tools to support student engagement and creativity.
  • Demonstrate how to apply tools to current or new lesson plans.
  • Create a lesson plan that shows mastery of tools and how to apply them.
