About the Course

In this online course, educators will learn to plan Flipgrid video discussions to increase student collaboration and engagement in the area of literacy instruction and beyond.  Teachers will post, revise and create a variety of Flipgrid topics in the area of their concentration, they will post a response to a topic, and learn how students can utilize this amazing tool. This course is appropriate for teachers of elementary through high school.  Specialists, instructional coaches, and administrators are invited to join; they will be asked to work on a grid in a discipline of their choice.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Develop and utilize relevant literacy based Flipgrid topic assignments.
  • Utilize Flipgrid with students for both in person and online learning in order to create an avenue for peer to peer interaction and feedback.
  • Identify a variety of ways that Flipgrid can be utilized in the classroom.
