About the Course

Educators will learn how to create Flipgrid video discussion topics in order to increase student collaboration and engagement. Teachers will post, revise and create a variety of Flipgrid topics in the area of their concentration. Participants will engage with the student facing side of this amazing tool as well. This course is appropriate for teachers of elementary through high school who are new to Flipgrid or interested in learning the basics of this tool. Specialists, instructional coaches, and administrators are invited to join too; they will be asked to work within a discipline of their choosing.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Develop and utilize relevant literacy based Flipgrid topic assignments.
  • Utilize Flipgrid with students for both in person and online learning in order to create an avenue for peer to peer interaction and feedback.
  • Identify a variety of ways that Flipgrid can be utilized in the classroom.
