About the Course

Our students live their lives connected. Rather than lament it; let's embrace it, using their connectivity to our advantage. In this course, you will create or improve your own teacher website to make your life easier. We will go through the ways to use your website to communicate with your students and parents: publish your lessons, curriculum, screencasts, videos, sign-ups, projects, and photos. We'll also explore ways to incorporate technology into the classroom. The hardest part of creating a website is finding the time to learn and do it, but this course will give you 15 hours of hands-on time to do just that! You'll walk away with a useful teacher website that will increase your effectiveness, time management, and communication. No computer experience needed!
