Choice Time: How to Deepen Learning Through Inquiry and Play
About the Course
Teachers will actively participate in online learning to further develop their understanding of choice time in the classroom grades K-2. Specific applications will be made to practice, as teachers will read and discuss reading assignments and use their classroom as their “lab”. Teachers will apply new play strategies and centers into their classrooms and discuss their findings through online discussions and end of unit slideshow.
This course is appropriate for teachers K-2 in all subjects. Teachers, librarians, instructional coaches, and administrators are invited to join us; they will be asked to work on class readings, discussions, and practice play and creating centers in their teaching environments.
