Embracing Blended Learning in the Classroom: Harnessing the Power of Student Inquiry

About the Course
“I teach, we teach, you teach.” In this course, teachers will learn how to lead students through an inquiry cycle through the implementation of blended learning in their own classrooms. Blended Learning means that students receive instruction in class and through online delivery with some control over time, place, path, or pace. It is a change of thinking and mindset. Instead of a student repeating back what the teacher said or making something that looks just like the teacher’s model, the instructor’s examples become a jumping off point. Blended learning is about teaching children to make their own choices, defend their approach, choose audience and purpose, and determine how to demonstrate mastery.
