An Introduction to Students with a Hearing Loss

About the Course
Teachers will actively participate in online learning to further develop their understanding of hearing loss, technology, service providers, and strategies for accessibility in general education classrooms. Specific applications will be made to practice, as teachers will adapt a lesson using the accommodations discussed. This course is appropriate for general education teachers at all levels. Teacher librarians, instructional coaches, and administrators are invited to join us; they will be asked to work on a planning template in a discipline of their choice.

I absolutely loved this class! I learned so much that I didn't know, and I felt that I knew quite a bit. This class is short and packed with knowledge. The workload isn't overwhelming and is very realistic. I HIGHLY recommend this class for anyone that works in the education system. It will challenge your thinking about what is best for your d/Deaf students and those with hearing loss. TAKE THIS CLASS!
