Google Sites Basics
About the Course
Teachers will engage in online learning to initiate and/or continue to develop their basic understanding of Google Sites. The focus will be on skills that will enable teachers to create and distribute a Google Site. Teachers will plan, organize, create, enhance, and modify a Google Site as a classroom resource to inform and communicate with students/families/staff.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Create a Google Site, modify settings, and distribute the URL.
- Determine a purpose, or purposes of the website.
- Plan and organize intended information into pages and sub-pages.
- Implement graphic design elements, links, images, embedded content, calendars, and content blocks.
