About the Course

In this course, teachers will actively participate in online learning to explore how to use Canva for Education, a powerful graphic design and interactive collaborative platform, to enhance your classroom teaching and planning. Throughout the course, participants will first explore what Canva offers, how it works and then learn how to create visually appealing classroom materials, such as posters, flyers, handouts, and presentations. We will explore how to establish a classroom to keep your students’ participation and collaboration in one place as well as integrating it into your current Learning Management System. At the end of the course, teachers will create a culminating project to implement in the classroom using the platform.

This course is appropriate for all K-12 teachers.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Explore and learn about the design tools within Canva.
  • Create visually appealing designs using Canva by applying basic design principles.
  • Enhance their classroom assignments and presentations.
  • Explore ways to engage students with this tool.
