The course is designed to assist educators, administrators, security and school personnel with a comprehensive understanding of the psychology of personal safety.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Explore the core concepts presented in "The Gift of Fear" and the psychology behind intuition and personal safety.
- Identify potential threats and signs of danger within a school environment, with a focus on prevention and appropriate response.
- Examine the dynamics of domestic violence in educational settings and develop strategies to support victims and prevent such situations.
- Analyze existing school security policies and practices, and suggest improvements aligned with the principles of "The Gift of Fear."
- Apply the knowledge gained to real-life scenarios, share insights, and develop action plans for improving school safety.
- Explain assertive communication and boundary-setting strategies to enhance safety within schools and develop appropriate lessons to allow students to develop these skills.
