About the Course

Teachers will reflect and enhance their math toolbox to provide opportunities for students to practice their math skills independently in an engaging way. We will also explore the idea behind “math anxiety” and how SplashLearn Math can help play a positive role in motivating students who have math anxiety. During the course, you will create a FREE SplashLearn - Math online account that your students will be able to access right away! Participants will have the time to analyze data and plan for targeted instruction to meet the mathematical needs of their students. This course is appropriate for K-5 elementary teachers, middle school math teachers who work with students who need remedial support, math interventionists, and/or paraprofessionals.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Reflect and share supplemental math resources.
  • Create a FREE SplashLearn Math online account to use with students.
  • Collaborate and reflect on best practices.
  • Develop a plan for differentiation and implementation to support math independence.
