Teachers will actively participate in building interactive lessons, to ensure all students are on task and engaged. Nearpods provide visuals and interactive options to engage student learning, ask open-ended questions, and help teachers check for understanding in real time.

This course is appropriate for any grade-level teacher and subject. Teacher librarians, instructional coaches, and administrators are invited to join us; they will be asked to work on a planning template in a discipline of their choice.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Provide visual and interactive options to engage all levels of students including but not limited to English language learners and students with individual education needs. 
• Use a variety of interactive checks for understanding to support student learning (quizzes, polls, videos, collaborative boards).
• Check for understanding in real-time. 
• Design educational plans that involve and challenge all students, addressing their individual learning needs and levels. 
• Create lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds of students to ensure a successful and inclusive learning environment.
