I learned some things about classroom design, but not enough to recommend this course to colleagues. Floor planning program was frustrating, though Canva was a good way to show creativity.
Steven Hartman
This course was a great mix of practical strategies and design theory, tailored specifically for educators. I appreciated how it encouraged me to reflect on the emotional and functional aspects of my classroom, not just how it looks. The mood board and floor plan assignments were creative and useful, even if some of the tech (looking at you, Kaplan Floor Planner) tested my patience! I also liked that the workload was manageable. I’m walking away with a clearer sense of how to design spaces that support student regulation, engagement, and collaboration—and how to be more intentional with layout, lighting, and sensory elements. I’d recommend this course to any educator rethinking their learning environment.

This class was fantastic! It offered creative and accessible ways to transform any classroom into a vibrant, engaging space. The design tips were easy to implement and made a huge difference in my teaching environment. Highly recommend for any educator looking to refresh their classroom!
