Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of various wellness practices, including physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing strategies, and their importance in the teaching profession.
  • Apply wellness strategies learned in the course to enhance their teaching practice and create positive learning environments for themselves and their students.
  •  Integrate mindfulness exercises, self-care practices, and relationship-building activities into their daily routines to promote educator wellbeing and student success.
  • Advocate for and promote a culture of wellness within their educational institutions, for staff and students.
