Take Time for You: Self-Care Action Plans for Educators

About the Course
As educators, we tend to put ourselves last. It is important to make ourselves a priority so that we can lead a healthier and happier life. It will allow us to then be the best versions of ourselves in and outside of the classroom. In the book Take Time for You: Self Care Action Plan for Educators, you will create a plan each week to make sure you are taking care of yourself by meeting each of the six levels of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. These needs are as follows: (1) physiological, (2) safety, (3) belonging, (4) esteem, (5) self-actualization, and (6) transcendence. This three credit class is meant for educators at every level and every subject, K-12. This includes, but is not limited to, teachers, principals, librarians, and counselors.
