About the Course
Positive student behaviors are desired outcomes, this course will concentrate on inputs. How do you respond to difficult behavior in the moment when you know that punitive, compliance-based behavior management is so often ineffective? What's the best way to prevent students from acting out in the first place? The path to success requires behavioral leadership, in which teachers strategically model and affirm the behaviors they want to see in students. We will be practicing weekly on what we have read and learned.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify research surrounding how to provide strategies for you and your students around behavior issues. .
- Use a variety of strategies for a variety of behavior issues.
- Implement strategies to increase positive individual and classroom behaviors.
