About the Course

Anxiety is on the rise, and seems to be present in ourselves, families, students, and communities. In this course, find out a little more regarding anxiety, and how to find coping strategies for yourself and others (including students), to live a healthier lifestyle. This course will focus on you, and how to change the narrative for yourself.

This course is appropriate for all professionals who work with students in any capacity.  

Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify, assess, and attend to situations causing anxiety.
  • Develop coping skills and behavior changes to help lessen anxiety.
  • Explain key concepts of anxiety and various methods used to manage it.
  • Create strategies through the coursework that will allow the student to better understand anxiety in themselves and students.
  • Implement a set of actionable steps to monitor anxiety and help make lasting changes.
