About the Course

Teaching culturally and linguistically diverse exceptional (CLDE) students can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. This professional development course equips educators with easy-to-implement, research-based strategies to support CLDE students in diverse classrooms. Participants will explore practical techniques for differentiated instruction, language scaffolding, and inclusive practices that foster student success. Through interactive activities, real-world examples, and collaborative discussions, teachers will leave with ready-to-use strategies that enhance engagement, accessibility, and learning outcomes for all students.

Whether you are new to working with CLDE students or looking to refine your approach, this course provides the tools and confidence to create a more inclusive and effective learning environment.

This course is designed for elementary and secondary educators. Teacher librarians, instructional coaches, and administrators are invited to join us; they will be asked to work on a planning template in a discipline of their choice.
