About the Course

This course is designed for K-12 educators seeking to integrate the Brisk Teaching AI tool and extension into their instructional practice. Participants will explore ethical AI usage, develop practical applications of AI-assisted lesson planning and feedback, and create differentiated materials using Brisk. Educators will leave with Brisk-enhanced lessons and an AI-supported instructional strategy toolkit. This course is appropriate for teachers of all content areas as well as coaches and administrators.

Teachers will actively participate in online learning to further develop their understanding of backward design, assessment, instructional strategies, and curriculum. Specific applications will be made to practice, as teachers will outline a lesson using the UbD template for one of their courses.

This course is appropriate for secondary science teachers. Teacher librarians, instructional coaches, and administrators are invited to join us; they will be asked to work on a planning template in a discipline of their choice.
