About the Course

In this 8-week course, educators will explore and implement Canva’s most recent 2025 feature updates to support instructional innovation. Participants will dive into four core focus areas—Visual Suite 2.0, Design with Data, AI Integration, and Canva Code—to discover how Canva’s evolving tools can be used to create interactive content, personalize instruction, and support student creation.

Rather than focusing on the basics, this course highlights newly released tools like Canva Sheets, Magic Charts, and Canva’s AI and code capabilities. Educators will complete weekly design challenges tied to classroom needs—such as creating dynamic data visuals, interactive lessons, and custom classroom tools—while also collaborating with peers through practical discussions.

By the end of the course, participants will complete a final project that blends design, data, and interactivity to enhance learning in their unique teaching context.

This course is ideal for teachers who are already familiar with Canva and are looking to take their skills to the next level with the platform’s newest and most powerful features. This course is appropriate for all K-12 educators.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Identify and apply new 2025 features in Canva for Education, including Visual Suite 2.0, Canva Sheets, Magic Studio, AI tools, and Canva Code.
  • Design instructional resources that incorporate data visualization, interactivity, or AI-generated content to support differentiated learning.
