About the Course

Teachers will be working to grow as leaders in their building to better support themselves and others at your school. We will discuss ways to have “tough” conversations and finding a communication style that works for you, how to support others in your building without feeling burnt out and how to lead in a way that makes others want to join along.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Identify leaders in their own building and how to help them see their own strengths.
  • Have conversations with others that center a solution based outcome.
  • Explain our rights and responsibilities in our school district as outlined by our quality standards, board policy and negotiated agreement.
