Discover how artificial intelligence can transform your teaching practice and support every learner. This 8-week course explores AI tools for IEP writing, progress monitoring, accessibility, differentiation, and student self-advocacy. Through hands-on practice, podcasts, ethical discussions, and practical projects, you’ll leave with classroom-ready strategies and tools you can use immediately. Designed for both special education and general education teachers.

This course is appropriate for Elementary and Secondary teachers.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Understand the basics of AI and its educational applications.
  • Analyze the benefits and risks of AI in supporting students with disabilities.
  • Apply AI tools for IEP development, data collection, and accessibility.
  • Evaluate ethical and legal considerations (bias, privacy, IDEA/ADA compliance).
  • Design and present an implementation project for AI in special education.
