About the Course

Teachers will participate in study of music and discussion of rehearsal techniques to enhance and refresh teaching styles. Specialized, in person instruction will be provided by a guest clinician and provide live feedback on conducting and rehearsal technique to widen the educator’s toolbox.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Implement new skills in the study of music
  • Plan effective and impactful lessons from their study
  • Reflect on habits and teaching practices
  • Adjust rehearsal techniques to respond more effectively to the live classroom
  • Diagnose errors and develop musical solutions
