Building Balance: Creating Routines & Exploring Sustainable Systems for Educators
About the Course
In this 8-week course, educators will explore and spend time creating sustainable routines and systems that support both their personal well-being and professional responsibilities. Through weekly planning, reflection, and resource exploration, participants will develop practical strategies for managing time, energy, and workload in a way that promotes balance and long-term sustainability.
Throughout the course, participants will create and refine weekly plans, establish routines, and design systems that align with their roles as educators. They will also engage with articles and podcasts, reflect on their experiences, and connect their learning to real-life applications in both school and home settings.
This course goes beyond reflection—educators will actively build structures they can use in their daily lives, including routines, planning systems, and wellness strategies. By the end of the course, participants will have a personalized set of tools and a sustainable plan to support their ongoing growth, effectiveness, and well-being as educators.
This course is appropriate for all K–12 educators.
