About the Course

Building on the foundation of ED 589, Cultivating Teacher Wellness Through Art, Level 2 invites educators to go deeper into their creative practice and expand their artistic wellness toolkit. This eight-week course challenges participants to explore advanced art forms including mixed media, somatic arts, digital creativity, eco-art, and sound composition while deepening their understanding of how sustained creative practice supports long-term professional resilience and emotional well-being. By the end of the course, educators will create an Advanced Creative Wellness Plan and a capstone portfolio artifact representing their growth across both levels. Prerequisite: ED 589 (Level 1).
