Reviews

Lisa Detlefsen
I really enjoyed this class. It gave me some fresh ideas to incorporate into the area of independent reading, as well as ideas how to enrich read aloud, shared reading, and guided reading. Most importantly the course confirmed what I have felt instinctually for years, which is always put the better learning and teaching strategies first, rather than utilizing test prep worksheets and our students will enjoy the learning process more.

This class will remind you why you want to teach reading and will energize you in the process. I gave this class 5 stars because it afforded me a reason to really reflect on my current teaching practices and create a plan for going forward with a much stronger program.
