This class teaches things that will benefit every student in my classroom and the book is a wonderful resource to have!

The book study not only enriched my knowledge and my newcomer group’s learning experiences, but also it gave me the opportunity to collaborate with classroom teachers willing to incorporate the strategies in their lessons as well. What I liked about this book is that it combined all of the strategies that I have used before in all content areas and expanded on some new ones as well. It was very easy and helpful to look up the structure of any ELL strategy and I was able to apply it in my planning format for any lesson.

So many great strategies! What I really appreciated about this book and it's strategies is how it differentiates for grade level sections. I teach preschool, and often it is difficult to find adaptations for this young age. The examples at the end of each chapter were so clear and helpful. The course itself was broken up into manageable chunks, and each assignment was helpful in guiding us to think thoroughly about implementing our chosen strategies. Kelli was a great instructor who was timely and helpful in her feedback and with answering emailed questions. Highly recommend!
