You can learn strategies that will help you get a fresh start before you go back to the classroom! Join me in working through multiple activities from Elena Aguilar's Onward workbook. Let's gather some tools to take care of ourselves as well as our students!  This book study will focus on the 2nd half of The Onward Workbook. You do not need to take the Survival section first. There is no required order.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Define emotional resilience and its’ importance for educators.
  • Create a bank of tools to use throughout the school year for themselves and their students to remain emotionally resilient.
  • Discuss and collaborate with other participates the exercises related to activities in the text, “The Onward Workbook.”
