About the Course
Atomic Habits offers a framework for improving every day. Participants will learn practical strategies that will teach them how to follow a simple set of rules to form good habits and to break bad ones. Participants will attain the skills to reset systems in order to achieve goals. The class will guide participants into breaking down the fundamental steps of building habits into the four steps: cue, craving, response, reward. They will determine what a habit is, how it works and how to improve it. Participants will apply the information on building positive habits using the cueing system to their education environment/classroom.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify the 4 laws of Atomic Habits.
- Describe how to effectively change behavior by building small habits over time.
- Demonstrate how environment and motivation factor in to facilitating new habits.
- Utilize the two-minute rule to end procrastination.
- Explain the role of accountability in building and maintaining new habits.
- Discuss how family/friends impact how we shape new habits.
- List common mistakes in creating and working toward new habits.
