About the Course

Educators will actively participate in online learning to further develop their understanding of critical thinking and how to close this gap using a critical thinking framework. This course will address underachievement, leveraging family support, evidence based reasoning, social emotional learning and equity.

Required Text:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Define the five critical thinking strategies within the framework.
  • Develop a lesson plan aligned to at least one of the strategies.
  • Implement the critical thinking framework to support student learning.
  • Develop action steps to leverage family support.
