Thinking Like a Lawyer: A Framework for Teaching Critical Thinking to All Students

About the Course
Educators will actively participate in online learning to further develop their understanding of critical thinking and how to close this gap using a critical thinking framework. This course will address underachievement, leveraging family support, evidence based reasoning, social emotional learning and equity.
Required Text:
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Define the five critical thinking strategies within the framework.
- Develop a lesson plan aligned to at least one of the strategies.
- Implement the critical thinking framework to support student learning.
- Develop action steps to leverage family support.

This was an interesting class. A definite eye-opener about critical thinking and our need to address the lack of it with our students. A lot of work for one credit but good information to apply.
